Practical Feldenkrais

Practical Feldenkrais aims to provide practical Feldenkrais solutions for everyday issues and problems. 

The Feldenkrais Method® is an easy and enjoyable method of movement education.  You can learn to move with greater ease and efficiency.  Moving differently can lead to pain-free movement and thus to a greater quality of life.

Why 'Practical Feldenkrais'?  Because my products address practical, everyday movements that are needed all the time, such as turning to back the car, bending down to do up shoes, sitting for long periods particularly at a computer, getting out a chair, walking.  These movements may be difficult for some people; stress, injury or illness may have created habitual inefficient patterns of movement.  These inefficient patterns then often lead to pain or injury, such as RSI, which can set up a further vicious cycle.

But you don't have to be ill or in pain to do Feldenkrais®.  It is a wonderful way of improving movement at any age, and in fields from sports, performing arts, gardening and hobbies to the martial arts.  It is also one of the most effective stress reduction techniques available. 

People who do it regularly enjoy better posture, breathing and co-ordination, as well as well as greater mental and physical flexibility.

My emphasis is on practical ways of using the Feldenkrais Method®, to gain the many benefits available.  My lessons on CD are a low-cost, easy way for you to benefit from the Feldenkrais Method.  I am an accredited Feldenkrais practitioner
